Anemone Franz

Bio Fellow, Think Tank Track

Anemone Franz is doing a think tank fellowship at the American Enterprise Institute.

 

Anemone is a physician who holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on health policy from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her medical education at the University of Würzburg in Germany, where she also conducted her doctoral research on parasitic infections in sub-Saharan Africa at the Würzburg Institute for Global Health. Post-graduation, she worked as a clinical trial physician at Alvea, a start-up company developing vaccine platforms, and served as an advisor for the non-profit organization 80,000 Hours. Anemone is an Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative (ELBI) Fellowship Alumnus from the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and a member of the European Leadership Network.
