Brian O’Neil is serving as an interim fellow at the Council on Strategic Risks.
Previously, Brian worked as a scientist in the biotech startup sector, contributing to the development of neonatal diagnostics, HIV recency assays, and cancer vaccines. He holds a Master of Science in Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Rochester, where his studies focused on biosecurity and microbial ecology and evolution.
