Britt Lampert

Bio Fellow, Executive Branch Track (2024-2025) Think Tank Track (2023-2024)

Britt Lampert is doing an executive branch placement at the Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy in the White House (2024-2025). During her first fellowship term, she was a think tank fellow at Brown University’s Pandemic Center (2023-2024).

 

Britt is also an Ending Bioweapons Fellow with the Council on Strategic Risks (2023-2024) and was a 2023 recipient of the Open Philanthropy Biosecurity Scholarship. Her research has focused on emerging technologies for reducing disease transmission and the use of open-source intelligence to detect biological weapons threats. Britt also previously worked in aerospace. At SpaceX, she led the research and development of astronaut food and water, and before that she managed a laboratory that was funded by NASA, NIH and the USDA. Britt received her PhD in Health Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
