Dev Basumallik is doing a congressional fellowship with the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology.
Previously, Dev graduated from law school where he focused on national security, administrative, and international law. During law school, he interned at the Federal Trade Commission, focusing on consumer protection litigation and antitrust issues as well as the Administrative Conference of the United States where he analyzed different methods of rule-making. Dev also contributed to research focusing on preemption and supersession at the state level. Before law school Dev worked at Open Philanthropy and Deloitte. He holds a JD from Fordham Law and a MS and BS from Penn State.
