Katie Strickland

AI Fellow, Congressional Track

Katie Strickland is serving as a congressional fellow in the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

 

Katie specializes in AI policy with particular focus on combating AI misuse, US-China technology competition, and advancing national security innovation through public-private partnerships. Previously, she worked in London as a Client Account Lead at Accenture where she managed a portfolio of global technology companies, providing strategic advice on operations improvement and technology transformation. Katie led Accenture UK’s Software and Platform Industry Cybersecurity team and spent several years in management consulting across the technology sector in San Francisco. Her professional experience includes internships with think tanks focusing on technology and national security at both AEI and the Nuclear Threat Initiative, as well as work with former Speaker of the House John Boehner. She holds a BS in Engineering and BA in Politics from Washington and Lee University, and completed additional engineering studies at Oxford University.
