Michael Cassidy enjoys two decades of experience working across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community in various analytical, operational, program management and leadership coaching roles. Michael began his career as an infantry officer in the United States Army prior to joining the Defense Intelligence Agency as an all-source analyst in 2001. After a decade of service with DIA, Michael has served as a strategic planner and program manager supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (USD(I&S)) – leading multi-functional teams to develop tailored, intelligence-driven strategies to combat emerging technology threats. Michael is also the founder and Executive Director of the National Security Career & Leadership Institute, which helps underrepresented populations find fulfilling careers within the security, intelligence and international affairs professions.
