Ashley is doing a congressional fellowship with the office of Senator Schatz (D-HI).
Previously, Ashley was a senior software engineer at Apple, where she led software automation efforts to support the next generation of Apple’s cellular devices. Preceding this, she supported a variety of location-based software features on then-newly launched products including the Apple AirTag. She has also worked as a software engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, developing GPS receivers for commercial aviation and space applications. Ashley is interested in better understanding how emerging technology can be regulated for the public good while still enabling innovation. Ashley earned her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York, with minors in Applied Mathematics and Dance.
