Kendrea Beers

AI Junior Fellow, Think Tank Track

Kendrea Beers is doing a think tank fellowship at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology.

While completing her MS in Artificial Intelligence at Oregon State University, she conducted AI safety research and co-led the AI Graduate Student Association. Her MS project surveyed the applications of formal methods to real-world AI safety challenges. Kendrea also holds a BS in Philosophy with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Oregon State University Honors College. She has conducted AI governance research at Cornell University and computer science research at Galois and the University of Notre Dame.
