Kevin Li

AI Fellow, Congressional Track

Kevin Li is serving as a Legislative Fellow on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee Research and Technology Subcommittee (2025-2026). During his first fellowship term, he was a congressional fellow in the office of Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) (2024-2025).

 

He previously worked at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration within the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he served as Special Advisor for AI Policy. He also worked on digital equity policy at the Mayor’s Office of Technology and Innovation in San José, California. Kevin previously conducted policy research to support California’s regulation of automated decision-making at Stanford University, where he also received an MA and BA in Public Policy with a minor in Computer Science.
