Ben Romney

Ben Romney is a Senior Program Manager at the Horizon Institute for Public Service, where he builds the data systems that support Horizon’s programs. Before joining Horizon, Ben spent seven years at Qualtrics, most recently as a Senior Software Engineer. His work there included leading the Research Lifecycle engineering team and developing Qualtrics’ agentic research platform. Earlier in his career, he worked as a software developer in Portland, Oregon. Ben holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where his master’s thesis focused on developing an augmented reality platform for science education.
