Darius is the Director of Research and Content at the Horizon Institute for Public Service. He holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford. He specializes in technology and security, particularly weapons of mass destruction and emerging technologies. Previously, he worked for the Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit in the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs in Geneva. He also co-authored a textbook on normative ethics, which will be released in 2024. Darius grew up in Germany but has lived and worked for extended periods in India, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Switzerland.
