Jose Altamirano

Jose Altamirano is a Senior Program Associate at the Horizon Institute for Public Service, where he supports the Horizon Fellowship and related programs. Before joining Horizon, Jose served as an analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where he conducted federal program evaluations across several agencies, gaining firsthand insight into how federal agencies operate and how policy gets implemented. Jose holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Government from Georgetown University.
